Who Can Register for the PTE Exam in Bangladesh?
The PTE exam has very few eligibility restrictions:
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- Parental consent required for applicants under 18
- No nationality restrictions open to all Bangladeshi students and professionals
- No educational qualification required to sit the exam
- Valid passport required as the only accepted ID both for registration and on exam day
- No limit on attempts, you can retake the exam as many times as needed, with a minimum gap of 5 calendar days between attempts
How to Register for the PTE Exam in Bangladesh
You can register directly on the official Pearson website at pearsonpte.com or through our guided registration support at Ace Language.
Here is the full process:
Step 1: Create your myPTE Account
Visit pearsonpte.com and click “Book a Test.” Create your account using your legal name and date of birth exactly as they appear in your passport. Any mismatch will be flagged on exam day and can result in being turned away at the test centre.
Step 2: Select Your PTE Test Type
Choose between PTE Academic, PTE Core, or PTE Academic UKVI. If you are unsure, this is the most important step to get right. Our counsellors confirm your test type based on your visa category and destination country before you proceed.
Step 3: Choose Your Test Centre and Date
Select your preferred test centre in Dhaka or Chittagong from the available options. Available dates vary by centre. During peak periods, slots 4 to 6 weeks ahead may already be filling. Check availability early.
Step 4 Review and Confirm Your Details
Before payment, review your name, date of birth, test type, date, and centre. Errors at this stage are difficult to correct after payment.
Step 5: Complete Payment
Pay using your Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or JCB card. You will receive a booking confirmation email immediately. Save this confirmation, you will need it on exam day along with your passport.
Step 6: Prepare for Test Day
Arrive at the test centre at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Bring your valid passport and booking confirmation. No electronic devices are allowed in the testing room.

There are authorised PTE test centres in Dhaka, located in the Uttara and Dhanmondi areas. All centres are standardised and regulated by Pearson the experience and equipment are the same across all locations. Students attending our Banani or Uttara coaching campus in Dhaka can receive guidance on the nearest available centre and upcoming exam slots.
Yes. You can reschedule for free if there are more than 14 days before your exam date. If fewer than 14 days remain, you must cancel and re-book. For cancellations: you receive a full refund if you cancel 14 or more days before the exam, a 50% refund if you cancel 7 to 14 days before, and no refund if you cancel within 7 days of the exam. Our team helps you navigate this process if your plans change.
It depends on your destination and purpose. PTE Academic is for university admissions and most immigration applications, including Australia and New Zealand. PTE Core is for Canadian economic immigration through Express Entry. PTE Academic UKVI is specifically required for UK visa applications.
